Photographs taken on walks continue to be welcomed from members. They are a valued input to this website and an interesting record of our walking activities for participants and for other members & potential members. However, space is not unlimited and the numbers published for each walk must continue to be monitored. Publication of photographs is at the discretion of the Web Editor and will be based on order of receipt, quality of photos, replicate scenes, numbers already received, and the appropriate projection of Sutton Coldfield Ramblers to the general public.

Are the photo's too big for your screen ?

The photo viewer pages have been tested in Internet Explorer & other browsers and should display the photos full size within your browser without problem with screen resolutions of 1024x768 upwards. (Few users will nowadays have a PC screen with a lower resolution than this).
Some of the reasons why this problem could happen are :

Some PC users find it easier on the eyes to increase text size when (say) doing a lot of reading on screen. The text and other items on the screen can be increased or decreased in size in 3 ways but they should ideally be returned to their normal settings afterwards as this can impact on the functionality or appearance of some web sites :
Assuming you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your browser, the 3 ways are :-

1.  Click on the 'View' pull down menu, hover over 'Text Size' & then click on the required size.
2.  Click on the 'View' pull down menu, hover over 'Zoom''  then click on the required %increase or %decrease.
3.  A 'Zoom' shortcut is to hold down the Ctrl key and tap the minus (-) key to decrease zoom or
plus (+) key to increase zoom.
Where possible, these settings should normally retain their default values -  Text size: Medium   Zoom: 100%

This viewing problem could also occur if the browser (eg Internet Explorer) window is not opened fully to fill the whole screen.
You can do this by clicking on the middle icon in the top right of the window frame (the one to the left of the 'X', or by
Clicking on the 'View' pull down menu & then clicking on the 'Full screen' option. (tapping the F11 key will also have the same effect.)
